Q1. Who is OVENTECHS, Oven Repair Technicians, REPAIR TECH?
A1. We are oven and cooker only repair specialist based in London, Bromley and Croydon repairing domestic electric ovens and cookers of any kind and make at reasonable price.
Q2. How much do you charge for repairs?
A2. We charge £79.00 flat fee for call out and this covers the labour for your repair. No extra or hidden cost. We fix with 1 year guarantee
Q3. Where do you cover?
A3. We cover London and Greater London areas, Croydon, Bromley, Sutton, Dartford and some other part of Kent and Surrey. Please call to find out
Q4. Do you charge a call-out fee?
A4. Yes, we do. We will only charge you a fixed price call out and covers labour for initial complained problem with your oven or cooker when you booked.
Q5. Does the charge include the cost of part?
A5. No, it covers call out and labour only. You pay for part if needed
Q6. What happens if my oven or cooker can not be repaired?
A6. In rare cases, If the situation is beyond your or our control, you will have to pay as this is not our fault. For example, Part is Obsolete or can not be ordered from manufacturer or your appliance is not accessible.
Q7. Do I have to make a deposit?
A7. Despite our engineers carry parts with them, there are still some parts which are "special orders" which they don't carry. These parts need to be ordered. We reserve our right to request for deposit or full payment after booking is made or after we have attended.
Q8. How can I pay?
A8. We accept all major debit and credit cards, cash and bank transfer.
Q9. Do you charge for subsequent visits if my oven or cooker can’t be fixed in one visit?
A9. No, we don't. We charge once till your oven or cooker is fixed for your initial complaint when booking.
Q10. Is your charge part inclusive?
A10. No, you pay for part separately if your oven or cooker needs it to keep it running back.
Q11. Is my repair guaranteed?
A11. Yes. You have up to 12 months guarantee on repair with part on the initial problem stated during booking. It is your responsibility to discuss actual guarantee that comes with the parts used. We guarantee our labour for 12 months. Guarantee on parts is based on the manufacturer as we do not have power over this. We can still assure you will get guarantee not less than 3 months on parts and could be up to 12 months in some cases.
Q12. What happens if it takes long for the part of my oven or cooker to arrive?
A12. We always try our possible best by putting pressure on the part manufacturers for early parts arrival. Although, there are few situations beyond their and our controls. We won't be responsible for any inconvenience during this period as long as the situation stays beyond our control.
Q13 Can I buy Parts needed for repair by myself?
A13 Yes, you can but, this can only be before you engage our services or when we are unable to source for the part. Note that we can only guarantee and take responsibility for parts we supply based on our experience and more importantly, safety and argument reasons.
Q14 What happens if I have the part for my Oven or Cooker?
A14 We will charge you our fixed call out charge if you want us to fit the part for you. Note that we can only guarantee and take responsibility for parts we supply based on our experience and more importantly, safety and argument reasons.
Q15. Do you have insurance policy in place to cover any mishap or accident that may occur during or after repair of my appliance?
A15, Yes, we do have Public Liability Insurance to cover major damage. Our engineers are trained to take as much care as possible while carrying out repair works at client’s addresses. Despite this, minimum or minor damage such as scratch, marks, tear etc MAY occur in the course of repairing your appliance which in most cases, are beyond the engineer’s control. We will not be responsible for such minimum or minor damage to your property which occurs in the course of carrying out repair of your appliance at your address.
